Facing History
FACING HISTORY REFLECTION
1. Describe the Facing History activity.
For this activity, we had a field day for the school. Blackstone's first school-wide field day! Our teams were mixed and we played a variety of relay games and had a cookout!
2. What did you notice during this activity?
During this activity I noticed that I was able to bond with other sophomores and freshmen who I never actually talked to simply because we weren't in the same classes.
3. How did the activity feel?
This activity was one of the funnest. It was interactive physically and socially! I felt closer to the sophomores and freshmen. I'm glad we had this field day since it'll be the last year Blackstone is about 165 students.
4. What did you learn?
I learned that Blackstone is a close community and we all need each other to survive these rough 4 years of high school.
5. What did you contribute?
I contributed by participating in nearly all relay races and by getting shy underclassmen to join in on the fun!
6. What are you left wondering about?
I am left wondering how Blackstone will be in the future. It bothers me that BACS will be expanding into a bigger high school now. I truly feel like BACS will loose the connection we all have. BACS (was) is special.
