November Morning Meeting
1. How well did your advisory collaborate in creating the PowerPoint and leading the meeting? What worked well and what did not work well?
My advisory collaborated pretty well since we’ve done morning meeting before so we knew what we were doing and things were at ease. Everything went well except I think we should have known who would say what slide before hand. 2. How would you describe your role in the process? Leader? Contributor? Creative designer? Main speaker? On a scale of 1 – 10, how meaningful were your contributions & why? My lead in this process was not so meaningful. I think I was a creative designer since I created the “Fashion Trend of the Day” slides. On a scale from one to ten, I rate myself a two because I did everything except I came in late every day. I didn’t do very well. 3. What did you learn about yourself from the process of working with your advisory to lead morning meeting? I didn’t learn anything to be honest. I guess you can say I’m not afraid to talk on the microphone and I noticed that I’m late to every place which I know is something I should improve on. 4. How could you, or your advisory, improve morning meeting next time? My advisory should know who is saying what slide maybe even rehearse before morning meeting. 5. What do you personally hope to do differently next time? Personally, I need to stop being late to morning meeting when it is my advisorys turn to run morning meeting because I’d always walk in during the pledge or announcments and that messed up the flow of our process. |

1. How well did your advisory collaborate in creating the PowerPoint and leading the meeting? What worked well and what did not work well?
My advisory collaborated well since we’ve done morning meeting before so we knew what we were doing and things were at ease. Many things went well, except the sound at times of course. 2. How would you describe your role in the process? Leader? Contributor? Creative designer? Main speaker? On a scale of 1 – 10, how meaningful were your contributions & why? My lead in this process was pretty meaningful. I ended up going for morning meeting on days beside mines. I think I was a creative designer in some way, having an idea, with the help of Jennifer of “hotties of the day”. On a scale from 1-10, my contribution was a 5 because I was a helping hand but morning meeting would have went perfectly without me. 3. What did you learn about yourself from the process of working with your advisory to lead morning meeting? I didn’t learn anything to be honest. I guess you can say I’m not afraid to talk on the microphone and I noticed that I’m improving on my tardiness and morning meeting helped put pressure on me so that I wouldn’t be late, and I wasn’t. Just the first day because I didn’t realize my advisory had morning meeting that week. 4. How could you, or your advisory, improve morning meeting next time? I could improve on taking more of a bigger role in morning meeting next time. I usually do easy things like video of the day. I want to take on something more challenging like book of the day. 5. What do you personally hope to do differently next time? Personally, I need to stop being late to morning meeting when it is my advisories turn to run because I’d always walk in during the pledge or announcments and that messed with things and messed up my reputation as an advisee in the morning meeting process. |
